Gayle Keller and Alex Dierkhising ~ Owners

Passionate about fine wines and steeped in a history of family restaurateurs, Alex and Gayle were among the first wave of food and wine  professionals in Napa Valley’s “modern” era, opening their first restaurant here in 1976. Theirs was among the first restaurants in the United States to receive the Wine Spectator’s Grand Award. They have been praised in the San Francisco Chronicle, the Zagat Guide and the very recent Michelin Guide to the San Francisco Bay Area. They continue to incorporate their personal beliefs into their business, emphasizing seasonal and regional ingredients coupled with the best small production, hand crafted wines.

 

 

Sonia Roland Murphy ~ Culinary Director

Working up through the ranks and being an 18 year All Seasons “veteran,” Sonia has helped create the creative and “can do” base upon which the bistro and catering department are built, bringing a balance of both the contemporary and the familiar to the menus that you see. By being aware of the logistics, the clientele, the wines and the season, she’s able to craft unique, personal menus that are designed for success!

 

 

Erik Ostman ~ Bistro Chef

A graduate of the Johnson and Wales Culinary Institute in Charleston, South Carolina, Erik explored various regions and cooking styles after graduation. He has worked in Southern California (Santa Barbara locations), England (Michelin Starred restaurant L’Ortolan south of London) and at the famed French Laundry in the Napa Valley town of Yountville with “uber”chef Thomas Keller.  The experiences have given him expertise in traditional French fare, the American and California food scene and the exciting fusion of all those influences. 

 

 

Summer Fernandez ~ Pastry Chef

A California Culinary Academy graduate, Summer creates the exceptional desserts you will find at All Seasons Bistro and our catered events. She has worked at various restaurants throughout Northern California, including the prestigious Applewood Bed and Breakfast in Sonoma County.  From wildly imaginative ice creams, sorbets and pot de crèmes, to more traditional tartes, tortes and pastries, Summer’s flair for style and intriguing edible garnishes make her desserts ALMOST too good to eat.

 

 

Joanne Romani ~ Catering Coordinator and Event Specialist

Joanne has worked in hospitality and the service industry for over fifteen years, including events coordinator at other highly respected catering companies as well as one of the area’s most notable party rental companies.  Impeccable about the details, her flexible and sensitive style has been lauded by countless clients, major companies and those oh-so-nervous brides!
